5/1/2017 - Stated Meeting of the Society
The next Stated Meeting of the Society of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick in the City of New York will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at The Princeton Club of New York City, which is located at 15 West 43 Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Cocktails will be served at 6:15pm, followed by dinner at 7pm. The reception, dinner and meeting venues are all located on the second floor of the Club

Our speaker for the evening will be Rev. James Martin, SJ. An ascendant Catholic thinker, Father Martin is editor at large of America magazine and he is the bestselling author of several books, including Jesus: A Pilgrimage, The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything, and Between Heaven and Mirth. Father Martin has written for many publications, including the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and he is a regular commentator in the national and international media.

As always, guests are welcome at the May meeting and the fee per guest is $50. Members are required to show membership cards to Stewards posted at the entrance to our meeting room. As usual, jacket and tie are required.
